“If you are not found, there is no deal.” With KITA Ulsan and Ulsan City, CONNECT AI built a digital territory so 10 CBAM-ready manufacturers in Ulsan could be found abroad — and turned into deals.

The real problem for regional makers

Even capable materials and parts makers in Ulsan hit a wall: they are simply not found by overseas buyers. A great product means nothing if global search and AI cannot surface the company — there is no first touch.

In the CBAM era, regulatory response is layered on top. That is why CONNECT AI joined forces with KITA Ulsan and Ulsan City.

What we did — AI visibility

Turning each of the 10 companies into a digital territory that gets found globally.

① Company brochure

Refining each company’s corporate and product content into English digital assets that buyers and AI can read.

② AEO (Answer Engine Optimization)

Optimizing so search and AI answer engines find and cite the company — expanding its “digital territory.”

③ Discovery & monitoring with MORI

RTDIA (real-time document interaction analysis) tracks opens, clicks and revisits; a C-level decision-maker DB focuses effort on real buyers.

Results

In Exolube’s campaign for a Chilean automotive expo, CONNECT AI reached 118 decision-makers with proposals. A 100% email open rate, 12% proposal click rate, and 2 companies driven to kita-cbam.com — reactive buyers were surfaced in real time and routed to video meetings.

In the prior 2024 program, the work produced 88 overseas buyer matches across 30+ countries, about USD 3.15M in consultations, and 2 MOUs.

One proposal reached 118 decision-makers — and every one opened it. When you are found, the deal begins.— Exolube Chile expo campaign, kita-cbam.com

For customers, exactly as for us

CONNECT AI applied to each of the 10 companies what it has done for itself: widen a digital territory through brochures and AEO, and read buyers with AI.

This case was presented publicly and documented in the co-authored book “Trade in the Hyper-Connected World.” In 2026 it expands to 20 companies, building Ulsan into a data-driven export city.

Frequently asked questions
What did CONNECT AI do with KITA Ulsan?

Together with the Korea International Trade Association (Ulsan) and Ulsan City, CONNECT AI supported the global expansion of 10 CBAM-ready manufacturers. It built “AI visibility” (a digital territory) for each company through brochures and AEO, ran the kita-cbam.com KITA GREEN online exhibition, and used MORI to discover and monitor overseas buyers.

What is AI visibility?

Combining a company’s brochure (company and product content) with AEO to build a “digital territory,” so overseas buyers and AI search engines can find that company. If you are not found, there is no deal — so CONNECT AI designs each company to be discoverable and citable globally.
