Song-Yi Yang, CEO of CONNECT AI Co., Ltd., has been invited to speak at the 2026 International Conference of the Korean Society of Food Science and Nutrition (KFN).
The conference will take place from October 28 to 30, 2026, at the International Convention Center Jeju (ICC JEJU), under the theme “Reinventing Food and Nutrition: Advancing from Core Science to Expanded Horizons toward 2050.”
In Session 28, “Beyond AI: A New Paradigm for the Health Functional Food Industry,” Yang will discuss how AI can transform health functional food value chains and strengthen trade competitiveness.

About the Korean Society of Food Science and Nutrition
The Korean Society of Food Science and Nutrition (KFN) was founded in 1971. It is an incorporated academic society under Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, working to advance public health and the food industry.
According to the society’s 2026 invitation notice, KFN has approximately 1,600 regular members. Its Korean- and English-language academic journals and industry publication, including the Journal of Medicinal Food, publish a combined 32 issues each year.
The society promotes food and nutrition research and seeks to improve nutrition and health through better dietary practices. Its activities include scientific meetings and lectures, journal and book publication, and exchanges with academic societies and institutions in Korea and overseas.
