CONNECT AI, with the Incheon National University GTEP program office, delivered an “AI-based digital trade hands-on special lecture” for the 20th GTEP cohort. On July 2, under the theme “Global export scenarios you run with your own hands in the AI era”, the session paired theory with hands-on practice, and it was led by CONNECT AI’s Songyi Yang · Changyong An.

Redefining ‘trade’ in the classroom

In the theory session, the message was clear: trade in the AI era is not merely a race to sell more, but the work of reading a buyer’s signals, verifying trust, and designing the next opportunity. The lecture stressed the importance of managing scattered buyer business cards, inquiries, and consultation records as a company’s digital trade assets — connecting everything from trust verification to proposals, response analysis, and KPI management into a single process.

The full export journey, run on MORI

In the hands-on session, students used MORI, the AI export-execution platform, to experience the entire export workflow for themselves — registering buyers via business-card OCR and CSV upload, AI analysis of company profiles and brochures, writing buyer-tailored English proposal emails, analyzing response signals such as opens, clicks, and replies, and KPI performance management. What normally takes years to learn on the job, they experienced as the A to Z of exporting, in a single practicum.

The next generation: a shift that begins in the classroom

The lecture was organized by Professor Bomin Ko, GTEP faculty advisor at Incheon National University (Department of Global Trade & Service), who said that “students were able to strengthen their global market-development capabilities by experiencing an AI platform firsthand,” and pledged to keep actively expanding data-driven, hands-on education. News of the lecture was also featured on Incheon National University’s official channels and in Consumer Times.

The next generation runs exports in the classroom. Because the shift to digital trade begins with people.

Following its Digital Trade Campus Tour this past May, CONNECT AI continues to bring digital trade education to universities. Letting the next generation run exports in the classroom — because we believe the shift to digital trade begins with people.
