AI export practice,
proven in the classroom

The 20th GTEP cohort at Incheon National University ran MORI on their own laptops — from a business card to KPIs. Proof that it is real software you use by hand, not consulting.

“Is MORI a slide deck, or software you use by hand?” On July 2, 2026, when the 20th GTEP students at Incheon National University opened their laptops, what appeared was not a textbook but a working export platform.

Between the classroom and the field

Trade education tends to stay theoretical, and a real feel for exporting is usually earned only through years of trial and error. Even a great lecture has limits next to “doing it yourself.”

So the question this session answered is clear: is MORI a presentation slide, or software students actually use by hand? That is why an industry tool was brought into the classroom of the next generation of trade professionals.

The MORI 5 steps students ran

The full export workflow the 20th GTEP cohort ran on their laptops. These five steps are what “AI trade & sales intelligence” actually is.

① Register buyers

Business-card OCR and spreadsheet (CSV) upload gather scattered overseas-buyer data in one place.

② AI analysis of materials

AI reads company profiles and brochures to surface strengths and key messages.

③ English proposal emails

Buyer-tailored English proposal emails are drafted automatically.

④ Response-signal analysis

Opens, clicks and replies are read to surface the buyers who are “hot” right now.

⑤ KPI performance

Progress and results are managed at a glance through KPIs.

What it proved

The metric for this case is not export revenue but real usage and endorsement. The 20th GTEP students each ran MORI’s five steps on their own laptops, and that was documented by Incheon National University’s official channels, by Consumer Times, Gyeonggi Maeil and Naewoe Ilbo, and in two public videos.

Professor Bomin Ko (Department of Global Trade & Service), the GTEP faculty advisor at INU who co-hosted the session, said that “students were able to strengthen their global market-development capabilities by experiencing an AI platform firsthand.”

A product is proven when it is used

First, MORI is not consulting — it is real software the 20th cohort ran by hand. Second, the next generation’s “first export run” happened in a classroom. Third, this pilot continues the industry–academia collaboration that ran through the Digital Trade Campus Tour this past May.

Frequently asked questions
What did CONNECT AI do with INU GTEP?

On July 2, 2026, together with the GTEP program office at Incheon National University (INU), CONNECT AI ran a hands-on AI digital-trade practicum for the 20th GTEP cohort. It combined theory and practice; the session was led by CONNECT AI co-representatives Songyi Yang and Changyong An, and the students ran the entire export workflow themselves on MORI, an AI sales-intelligence platform.

What is GTEP?

GTEP is a university “Youth Trade Academy” program that trains young trade professionals. The 20th GTEP cohort at Incheon National University took part in this practicum, co-organized with the INU GTEP program office.

What did the students do with MORI?

Buyer registration via business-card OCR and CSV upload, AI analysis of company profiles and brochures, buyer-tailored English proposal emails, response-signal analysis (opens, clicks, replies), and KPI performance management — the A-to-Z of exporting, which normally takes years to learn, experienced firsthand in a single practicum.

Is MORI a consulting service or software?

It is software. In this practicum the 20th GTEP students each operated it on their own laptops, running the full export workflow from buyer discovery to KPI management — a real, working AI sales-intelligence platform.

What is the basis for this case?

The practicum was covered by Incheon National University’s official channels and by Consumer Times, Gyeonggi Maeil, and Naewoe Ilbo, and can also be seen in two public videos. Professor Bomin Ko (Department of Global Trade & Service), the GTEP faculty advisor at INU, said that “students were able to strengthen their global market-development capabilities by experiencing an AI platform firsthand.”
